Hello! I am an assistant professor of philosophy at the University of Colorado Denver.
My research interests include social and political philosophy, philosophy of race, and continental philosophy, with particular attention to temporality, racialized subjectivity, and Asian and Asian American experience.
Drawing on contemporary French philosophy and critical phenomenology, my work examines the affective and structural dimensions of racialization under contemporary capitalism. My work appeared in Deleuze and Guattari Studies, APA Studies, Philosophy East and West and edited volumes in philosophy of race.
I completed my PhD in Philosophy at Duquesne University and Université Paris VIII Vincennes–Saint-Denis, and a BA and MA in Philosophy and a BFA in Painting and Printmaking at Ewha Womans University.
